Seven kids at summer camp are suddenly transported to the Digital World that's like a million miles away from their homes and families. Soon after their arrival, they were given Digimon. And then, in time of trouble, they digivolve. Who are the characters?

Yagami Taichi a.k.a. Kamiya Tai

Age: (1st Season:) 11 in fifth grade, (2nd Season:) supposedly 14-17

PROFILE: Taichi was eleven in the first season and fifteen in the next. Let's describe him as a goggle-wearing soccer player. Not in a bad way, of course! Goggles-- a requirement for all leaders! In the first season, movie, and second season, he showed that he had feelings for Sora. Sora also seemed to have a crush on him! Taichi is a natural leader. Reckless and independent, he tries to do what's best for him and his team, even though his decisions may be rash. In the first season, he wanted to help his teammates so much that he didn't actually help at all, because Greymon digivolved into SkullGreymon! His crest is Courage, favorite color blue, with spiky brown hair and eyes. Sadly, he gave Sora up selflessly to his best friend, Yamato, in the second season. WHAT I THINK: I still think Taichi and Sora are better together! Now I wonder whom Taichi married…

Ishida Yamato a.k.a. Ishida Matt

Age: (1st Season:) 11, (2nd Season:) supposedly 14-17.

PROFILE: Yamato was eleven in the first season and fifteen in the second. Here's Yamato Ishida, the cool yet rebellious one in the group. Actually, I noticed that he and Mimi are best together! Why on earth did he marry Sora, then? Yamato, blue-eyed and blonde, swooned over by a couple thousand girls--JOKE!-- as a rock star, is one of the most popular students in Odaiba high. Oh, who can forget Jun Motomiya, Daisuke's pesky big sister? Yamato's terrified of her! His crest is Friendship (luckily he didn't show Friendship Speech symptoms [Tea Gardner of Yu-Gi-Oh! has the disease]), favorite color either blue or green, and best friend Yagami Taichi. WHAT I THINK: I think he was better off with Mimi! He really shouldn't have accepted Sora's cookies… they may have been poisoned! (No offense, Sora likers!)

Takenouchi Sora a.k.a. Takenouchi Sora

Age: (1st Season:) 11, (2nd Season:) supposedly 14-17

PROFILE: Eleven in the first and fifteen in the second, Sora is a tennis-playing 'tomboy'. Not really tomboy, but she is sporty and smart. She's really mature--and she's perfect for Taichi! She tries to watch over to him and he saves her all the time! The only time she and Yamato really seemed together was in the first episode when Yamato and Sora were watching the canoe races--yet they ended up together. Creepy… Sora is mature, smart, intelligent and the voice of reason. Shoot, why on earth did she end up with Matt? He needs Mimi! I mean, well… Now back to the important things--she ended up with Yamato. *Bleep* Toei! WHAT I THINK: I still like Mimi better.

Izumi Koushiro a.k.a. Izumi Izzy

Age: (1st Season:) 10, (2nd Season:) supposedly 13-16

PROFILE: Ah, Koushiro, the red-haired genius. I find his eyes very kawaii. He's very intelligent and has a theory for everything (including why he was adopted--or so he thinks). To describe him, let's start of with him as having red hair and black eyes. He's extremely intelligent and straightforward. He's just a ten year old but know things a seventh-grader is learning! His daughter looks like him, though I don't know whom he married. I think he's a scientist and I bet he still loves trigonometry trivia! WHAT I THINK: And who can forget that adorable pineapple laptop?

Tachikawa Mimi a.k.a. Tachikawa Mimi

Age: (1st Season:) 10, (2nd Season:) supposedly 13-16

WHAT I THINK: Here's my favorite character! May I say she looks like me the most, except that I got *beep* bangs! Not look-alikes, but out of all, it's her, I guess. PROFILE: Mimi's half-American and half-Japanese, from what I gather. She was pampered like a princess ever since she was a child, hence the nickname "Daddy's Little Princess". She's the popular, ditzy type of girl who can't seem to get used to new things. She actually was quite prepared for the Digital World, yet all her stuff DIDN'T WORK!!! Being ten in the first season and PROBABLY fourteen in the second, she moved to New York. She ends up with a son… whose father I will never know. People still make stories that she ended up with Yamato, and that Sora married Taichi… but who knows?

Kido Jyou a.k.a. Kido Joe

Age: (1st Season:) 12, (2nd Season:) supposedly 15-18

PROFILE: Nervous, anxious--yep, here's the guy who thinks the sky is falling. Always the pessimist, Jyou is. The eldest in the group, he believes he has to take the responsibility of taking care of the other kids, though they hardly listen to him. He also can't make up his mind when it comes to decision regarding their adventure in the Digital World. He also carries around a medical kit--proof that he is scared that he'll get allergic to Digimon or plants. Luckily, he's got Gomamon to help. That adorable plushie is one of the friendliest Digimons around! WHAT I THINK: This guy sure can't make up his mind, but if you alter the way he's drawn a little bit, this guy could become a bishounen! No, really!

Takaishi Takeru a.k.a. Takaishi T.K.

Age: (1st Season:) 8, (2nd Season:) supposedly 12

PROFILE: Takeru was quite the crybaby in the first season, being the youngest in the group. Also, living alone with his mom, he had to look up once again to his big brother Yamato. His parents divorced when he was young, so he missed his big brother a lot. However, things changed when he met Taichi's younger sister, Hikari, a perky girl his age. They began to get along and became best friends. In the second season, when he was eleven or twelve, he reunited with Hikari in Odaiba Elementary. This is where he met Daisuke, who named Takeru as his rival for Hikari's *love*. As much as Takeru and Hikari insist they are just friends, Daisuke still won't believe them. This is where the trouble starts…

Yagami Hikari a.k.a. Kamiya Kari

Age: (1st Season:) 8, (2nd Season:) supposedly 12

PROFILE: Perky, optimistic and wise beyond her years, Hikari is the "perfect girl". She's the younger sister of soccer star Taichi Yagami and is no longer a "kid"! In the first season, she met Tailmon (Gatomon) and they became friends. She only showed up in the last arc of the season. She seemed so small, people used to tease her. But Taichi always remained by her side. In the second season, Daisuke has a big crush on her. In the movie, she was taking pictures of herself and Takeru in New York. They have a relationship, right? Nobody knows for sure.

Motomiya Daisuke a.k.a. Motomiya Davis

Age: (1st Season:) 8, (2nd Season:) supposedly 12

PROFILE: Hey, isn't that Taichi? Definitely not. Clumsy, arrogant, and sometimes bossy, Daisuke is the new leader of the group in the second season of Digimon. He pretends he knows all, but he usually has to accept reality checks from Hikari and Miyako. "Inheriting" his goggles from Taichi after his was broken, he tries to take on the responsibility of making the team strategies in breaking down the spires. They hardly ever work, of course. He also got the Digi-Eggs of Courage and Friendship to make his Digimon Armor-Digivolve. He's got a gigantic crush on Hikari! ^__^;; Eheheheh… Not that Hikari gives him a second look, of course. He considers Takeru as his rival for her. Well, call it puppy love, but still. Ah, here it is… He's got an older sister named Jun. She's got a big crush on Yamato. So, let's see… Daisuke hates Takeru, who is the younger brother of Yamato, who is hounded by Jun. *stares at screen triumphantly* There! His Digimon is Veemon, an adorable optimistic, corny, yet cool Digimon! He cheers them up with knock-knock jokes. So... who's laughing? ^_~

DID YOU KNOW? Daisuke was one of the children rounded up by Phantomon when they were in the Human World looking for the last Chosen Child?

Inoue Miyako a.k.a. Inoue Yolei

Age: (1st Season:) 9, (2nd Season:) 13

PROFILE: Here's the technology-whiz of the second season: Miyako-chan! She's got three older sisters and one older brother, so you could call her… spoiled? Nope, I don't think so. Her family owns a convenience store, so she gets to bring food to school for the Digimons to snack on. She's got a weird rivalry with Daisuke (beats me what it's about) and looks up so much to Koushiro. And did you know that she's got a crush on Ken? I suppose so, and it gets pretty obvious. I think she and Ken make the cutest couple! She may be a nerd, but that doesn't cut her short on power. She can knock you down if she wanted to! Oh, and did I mention she's got a feminine side--which was shown to Mimi? Hawkmon is her partner. And guess what! Hawkmon is a male Digimon. Miyako, then, is the only character in the first two seasons to have a partner a different gender from the character. ...Um, did that make any sense? DID YOU KNOW? In the movie, she was one of the children who watched Taichi and Yamato's Digimon digivolve? I think they became WarGarurumon or something...

Hida Iori a.k.a. Hida Cody

Age: (Season 1:) 5, (Season 2:) 9

PROFILE: I used to laugh at Iori, his seriousness, and his round haircut. But if you look past his shy side, he's actually wise AND mature for his age! You can call his character boring, but if you consider his age and his family situation, he's not as bad as you think he is. Iori's father, whom he really looked up to, died. So he acts a bit lonely at school. You can't blame him, can you? He also looks up to Miyako because she is like an older sister to him. Cheerful and optimistic, Armadimon (or Armadillomon), his Digimon, tries to get him to lighten up. Sometimes the group doesn't take him seriously. Also, he doesn't trust people right away. You have to be nice and loyal to gain his trust.
